Happy New Year. Hope you had nice holidays. I did this over the break.

Spring semester has just started at SVA. I am taking a break from teaching continuing education, and concentrating on teaching undergradate illustration and cartooning classes this semester.

I have been working with Financial Times Magazine (UK) for almost a year now, thanks to huge support from Art Director Andrew Lee and Deputy Art Director Sara Wadsworth. I just finished the first cover illustration with them. It will come out this Saturday, January 15, along with one other inside illustration in the same issue. Please check them out if you are in UK.

We met in October and quickly became close friends. Marcos was kind enough to come into my class as a guest lecturer and encouraged second year cartooning majors at SVA to pursue their dreams. You were the best! Sunday brunch at Park or dinner at Florent won’t be the same without you two!
