This year’s judging for the competition is officially over. It was a great experience judging the editorial category, and getting inspired by all the amazing submissions. Congratulations to all the accepted illustrators including medal winners. You will be hearing from them soon.

1) October 6 (Fri) – Society of Illustrators LA is hosting a talk in the evening at Otis College of Art and Design. I will be speaking along with Mark Murphy.
2) October 7 (Sat) – Guu Press’s new book Bliss Express publishing party and show at Nucleus Gallery. Marcos Chin and I will be there.
3) October 10 (Tues) – Lecture at Art Center College of Design. (This lecture is open to Art Center students only)
I will be traveling out to Los Angeles in October to judge Society of Illustrators LA competition, and to speak at their event at Otis Collge of Art and Design on October 6th. Please check the details and how to RSVP here. It will be my first visit to LA in 25 years! I am excited and hope to see you there.
