don’t know how to draw? no problem! One day drawing workshop in Chicago

UPDATE: This year’s FORM Chicago events, including the workshop, were cancelled. They may host FORM and all the related events in 2017. We will keep you updated on the new schedule. Thank you.

I’ve been teaching (mainly at SVA) for more than a decade now, and I have taught many different courses over the years. Probably one of my very favorite thing to teach is drawing. Specifically basic drawing, like Drawing 101.
When FITC initially asked me to teach a one day workshop as a part of their tech & design conference in Amsterdam, I didn’t quite know what I should teach. Most of the conference goers are not illustrators. After a while of thinking multiple ideas, I decided the most inclusive workshop for the occasion would be to teach the basics of how to draw, and have fun with it.

Since then, I have taught this drawing workshop multiple times (Amsterdam, Calgary, Lima…). This summer, I will be taking the drawing workshop to Chicago.

This workshop is open to anyone of ALL LEVELS. You don’t know how to draw, but always wanted to learn? No problem. You’ve been out of art school for a bit and want to get back into it? Cool with that too.
We will do lots of fun and quick drawing exercises. You will go back home with pile of paper all filled out with drawings. It’s sort of a drawing boot-camp, but with lots of fun. (Don’t worry, I won’t make you draw a realistic Earth.)

Small group of 18 participants. Currently limited availability, so act fast.
